I was skeptical because of the great price but after 2 months of Monday to Friday use (including P.E. day) these shoes are still wonderful and look cute. They seemed stiff at first but softened to easy comfort within 2 days of wear and hold their black dye very well. Highly recommended for kids 4-6. The leather topped ‘button’ at the top of the shoes wore off but shoes still looks great.

I was excited when I found these shoes at such a great bargain. I love the look of them. The detailing is adorable — just the kind of thing I love in a little girl’s MJ. I snapped up the navy and the brown not thinking twice about it since I used to wear buster browns back in the day when my mom only bought us three three pairs of shoes: a black, a brown, and a “tennis shoe.” Back then (early to mid-80s) this was a pretty pricey but really nice quality brand. I’m not sure what has happened, but these were a real disappointment. Size issues I can deal with (and as others have pointed out the measurement feature on the sole is a fun bonus), but this leather is really thin and the shoe has almost no support. The style is still cute, but I was really reminded of a shoe you’d find at Target. Yes, the price is comparable, but these are supposedly on sale. I would spend a few dollars more and pass on these (or keep looking for another great bargain).

Smooth brown leather shoes seem to be hard to find (mostly nubuck these days), and this shoe fits that description as well as being stylish and sturdy. I am very pleased with the quality and design and look forward to the day our granddaughter can actually wear them–they run at least one full size larger so it will be several months before they fit!

I love these adorable shoes. They fit great and were very flexible and soft and my daughter took to them right away. I like that the velcro strap is wider than the opening so it doesn’t slide out. It has an adorable lace looking pattern that is just so cute and the brown color goes with anything.
The only negative is that the toe has scuffed rather easily, it could just be the way my daughter wears them, I’m not sure but the toe is a white/lighter brown color from the scuffing. I”m sure a marker would fix it up. I would definately recommend these cute shoes wish I had bought them in other sizes for the future.
